Skilled Nursing Facilities

Skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) provide intensive medical care and rehabilitation services following a hospital stay. Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and complex wound care. Most stays are short-term and covered by Medicare Part A for the first 100 days after a qualifying hospital admission.
